HOW IT ALL WORKS

Here we explain the Rating Process for the initial introductory year of Certified Teen Help Organization. The ongoing implementation of suggestions and counsel for future adjustments of the CTHO Rating Process will be described in the 2nd paragraph hereafter.

INITIAL RATING PROCESS (2007 - 2008)

For questions concerning the integrity of the CTHO "Rating Process," we have provided the following explanation. We understand the concern, for the method and creation behind the initial Rating Process which was developed with professionals that are in the teen help industry. These professionals have provided consulting services which incorporate guidelines geared toward the collection of information. The information can be substantiated through a Full Report process made available to consumers. Consumers are another viable part of a checks and balance system who can file a complaint of any false claim of services that a Certified Provider states they provide in their Full Report. Consumers are able to make these complaints in their Consumer Login area from the home page of www.cthorg.com. These complaints shall notify CTHO that an Organization is flagged. Once an Organization is flagged, CTHO will notify the Organization that they are flagged and must comply with the following:

  1. Make Corrections concerning legitimate complaints,
  2. or be Suspended until resolutions have been resolved,
  3. or have their Membership Terminated if no corrections are made on legitimate complaints.

FUTURE RATING PROCESS (2008 - Ongoing)

The Rating Process following the initial introductory year of 2007 for ongoing future implementations of policies, suggestions and adjustments of the CTHO Rating Process will be carried out by the "Certified Elected Board", which shall be established as follows:

  • 3 certified representatives from each Organization Type will be elected by those who vote upon these representatives within their specific Organization Type every 2 years.
  • The certified representatives elected to be on the "Certified Elected Board" will be chosen to speak for their Organization Type for any implementations of policies or Rating adjustments.
  • 3 representatives of Consumers who have an active Consumer Account from www.cthorg.com shall be elected to the Board each year to provide suggestions and feedback. This is to ensure that there is a reasonable and equal balance of policies that are fair for Certified Providers, as well as fitting and safe for Consumers concerning the welfare of a child.
  • The election of the certified representatives for each Organization Type will take place every 2 years on October 7th, to begin responsibilities & duties as a certified representative in January of the upcoming year.

CERTIFICATION PROCESS

Our "Certification Process" is accomplished by various decisive factors that are brought about by:

  • Local & State Information provided by the Teen Help Provider
  • Our Reporting Staff
  • Professional consulting from experts in the teen help industry.

This combination of collecting information ensures that the "Certification & Reporting Process" we offer is substantially factual, accurate and unbiased.

The "Certified Emblem of Approval" must be displayed on a visible location on the Homepage of a Certified Teen Help Provider's website. The "Certified Emblem of Approval" is a link that directs consumers to the Teen Help Provider's verification of the Emblem, Rating, and Full Report, which is used to show Parents and Professionals how credible a Teen Help Organization is. It is ONLY used by "Certified Teen Help Providers" that are approved through CTHO's "Certification Process". Only Teen Help Providers that meet the criteria set forth in the "Certification Process", will have the "Certified Emblem of Approval" on their website.

Through this "Certified Emblem of Approval" we explain the precise Rating of each Teen Help Provider that is Certified, and offer consumers the FULL REPORT on that Certified Teen Help Provider.

The FULL REPORT that is offered to consumers will give specific information that will include, but not be limited to the following; a Teen Help Provider's cost, discrepancies, warnings if any, service and support, academics, therapy, activities, teen help organization's specialties, strengths, and any current problems that a teen help organization may have, if any.

If you are a Parent or Professional seeking an Approval Rating on a Teen Help Provider that does NOT list our "Certified Emblem of Approval" on their Homepage as a teen help website, and you would like them to seek Certification Contact Us, or send them an email requesting them to seek Certification.
